A couple of months ago there was a major updateto the app. Prior to the update if I wanted to recharge funds via paypal, the app shelled out to paypal and I typed my paypal password there. Funds were added and I was returned to the starbucks app. After the update, things changed. Starbucks could have chosen not to store the password on the phone, but users would then be forced to key in their username and password every time they wanted to use the app to make a purchase. In my version of the app, you can either turn passcode (not username and password) on or off. I have it turned off. The only time I need to enter my username and password is when I reload my card. Don't know what else to tell you other than to do as Kappy suggested and contact Starbucks.
Apr 20, 2009 · As long as he doesn't log out from his app, he will always have access to my account. My last try would be to set up a completely new and separate account using a different email and password, essentially presenting myself to the Starbucks system as a different person. I suggest anybody with a hacked account do the same.
