Mail did add my email accounts but didn't send anything out. I erased all and installed Outlook, but Outlook cannot add as the outgoing SMTP server (port 587) does not reply. This is what I have done so far: Sent email from another computer: no issues, computer can send via SMTP. Tried another computer: computer can send. .

Setting the IP address of the DNS server manually did not help (neither to the local DNS nor the Google's DNS). What worked, was entering the IP address of the SMTP server manually (which, of course, defeats the purpose of having domain names in the first place).
